Resource Packs for Teaching and Learning
The ActivBoard software comes with a huge Library of resources to support teaching and learning. Images and backgrounds enable teachers to quickly create engaging pages, and page templates help to enhance presentation and impact. Sounds, text and shapes can be instantly added to a page to support the lesson, and video or Flash-based activities can be incorporated to allow seamless access during a learning sequence.
Resource Packs are collections of additional resources that educators can select to supplement the installed Library in the ActivBoard software. These packs are often produced in response to teacher requests and, best of all, they are FREE!
Promethean and ACTIVboardNZ regularly produce resource packs for classroom topics and current events - there is now a new home page specifically for New Zealand teachers where specific New Zealand resources packs can be downloaded from the Promethean Planet http://www.prometheanplanet.com/nzteachers website. Register for free at Promethean Planet and you will have instant access to all of the NZ resource packs.
We are producing New Zealand packs to support our curriculum and language. These can be downloaded from here and imported into the ActivInspire or ActivInspire software Library. There will be new NZ packs produced each Term.

This resource pack contains images and scale diagrams of heavy vehicles and machinery used in the mining and quarrying industries in New Zealand.
It includes photos of mining operations, including views from the driver's seat, sets of mineral and rock words for the NZ Science curriculum and a flipchart about classifying rocks.  Resource Packs - Instructions
1. Click the link to download the selected resource pack - Save it to a Folder on your computer.
2. In ActivInspire: File > Import > Resource Pack To (select My Resources OR Shared Resources)
3. Navigate to the resource pack which will have the extension .as3a or .as4a
4. Open
5. The pack will now install into the Library
