We have commissioned a number of action research projects investigating the relationship between the use of ActivBoard technology and educational attainment and added value educational outcomes. Conducting research allows us to seek answers to a wide range of questions about the impact collaborative learning technologies has in relation to the development and enhancement of learning opportunities and teaching strategies. We believe such inquiry based research is critical to helping shape thinking on a wide range of educational issues, as well as producing a clearer and more detailed understanding of the beneficial impact our technology can bring in schools and colleges, and thereby raising educational standards across the globe. White PapersThis research is conducted in-house or through our research partners in a series of authoritative reports and short treatises on the major issues surrounding the use and implementation of ActivBoard technology. The aim is to enlighten as well as to educate. Promethean white papers support the benefits of ActivBoard technology as well as highlighting the critical issues surrounding the use of our technology minute detail. These reports have been by academics, research organisations, academic departments or institutions, public sector bodies or consultancies, and government bodies/departments or commissions. The reports offer a series of penetrating insights into the use and impact of interactive whiteboard technology. The reviews offer critical comment and a synthesis of research on important topics surrounding the use and embedding of interactive whiteboard technology.
